Pleasant Hill Community Center

Using themes of transparency and visibility, the Dahlin Group designed a new community center that was twice the size of the original. The building was sited to preserve the existing landscape and create a harmonious relationship between indoors and outdoors, leading to the use of natural and contemporary materials such as wood, stone, steel and glass for the exterior.-Art is used throughout the interior of the Pleasant Hill Community Center, primarily in the casework. Taking advantage of the many wood-grain options offered by Lamin-Art, the Dahlin Group designed credenzas and cabinetry with mixed textures.
