SITUATION

When designing the Wynn Resort and Casino, the design team at Avery, Brooks and Associates for Wynn Design and Development knew they wanted the property to stand in a category of its own among Las Vegas hotels.

To achieve this feat, the design team looked no further than Lamin-Art’s Premium Wood Prints. Utilizing three distinctive and dynamic wood grains throughout the Wynn Resort and Casino gaming floor, including reception stands, casino fronts, and more, the property leaves a lasting impression to first-time guests and Wynn regulars.

Selecting three of Lamin-Art’s 57 Premium Wood Print designs, the design team was able to establish a bold, elegant interior without the environmental or cost drawbacks.

DESIGN

The design features three Premium Wood Print designs: 7958 Zebrawood, 2613 Bronze Ribbon Mahogany, and 3001 Honey Birdseye. There is even a custom design developed in collaboration with Roger Thomas’s design team and Steve Wynn.

From subdued to dramatic, rustic to refined, naturally warm to elegantly cool, each of our wood prints is carefully designed to truly reflect the beauty of natural wood species, including characteristics such as knots and worm tracks.

In hospitality environments Premium Wood Print surfaces are used on a variety of vertical and horizontal interior applications, including casinos, check-in and reception areas, concierge desk fronts, feature walls, bar and cafe areas
