It’s our year-end recap of the top 10 Lamin-Art designs for 2014!
Compared to our top 10 designs from the first half of 2014, which was a testament to designers preference of neutral and warm tones, our top designs now reflect a resurgence in the popularity of organic and raw textures.
It’s no surprise, then, that eight of the top 10 products feature designs that are true representations of the material that inspired them:
Three from our newly introduced Abstracts collection broke into the top 10: Chalk White Concrete (1), Natural Gray Concrete (2) and Fly Ash Concrete (7) each represent a basic building material, offering an unrivaled look that is authentic in every nuance—down to the markings left by pressboards.
The visual and tactile wood grains of Premium Wood Prints and Veneer-Art were also represented, alongside the organic jute textile found in our dynamic Naturals Burlap collection.
No. 4 from our list, Naturals 501 Bleached Burlap, was used extensively in this month’s project of the month: Kabi’s kitchen showroom. Combining the rich color and sleek texture of a modern espresso on lower cabinets with the lighter imperfections of 501 Bleached Burlap on main cabinetry, Kabi achieved a two-toned palette that is compatible with a range of neutrals and accents.
With the organic, earthy properties of the jute textile—featuring irregularities that create a random motif and texture—every square inch of the product is unique, making Burlap the perfect fit for their showroom.
Take a look at the other designs featured in our top 10 list below.
