Preserving nature's beauty with new wood print laminates

Schaumburg, IL (August 2007) - Renowned for the unique visual quality of its premium decorative high-pressure laminates, Lamin-Art expands its Premium Wood Prints collection with 10 new items, once again true to Mother Nature's beauty.  These wood reproductions are futher enhanced by a new Supermatte finish featuring a low sheen level and a subtle softness to the touch, similar to that of raw veneer.

Each of the new items was hand-picked by Lamin-Art's Design Director from a variety of natural materials for its rich, exotic or contemporary look.  From the sophisticated opulence of the Indian Apple, to modern walnut and teak interpretations, and eco-inspired originals such as Seagrass and Palmwood, these new classics have been selected and color-styled to enhance today's commercial interior design palette and to coordinate with other items in the Lamin-Art line of premium decorative high-pressure laminates.

The addition of the low-sheen Supermatte finish (Light Reflectance Value: 2.0) results in a genuine wood look and feel, making these new wood prints look more realistic than ever.  The new items are also available for specification in smooth Velva-Tex and high-impact Gloss finishes.

All of Lamin-Art's woodprints are manufactured utilizing a 3 to 4-stage printing process, which offers unprecedented depth, dimensionality and realism.  Combined with extra-large pattern repeats that further contribute to their realistic appearance, Lamin-Art's woodgrains offer a cost-effective alternative to real veneers for furniture, fixtures and casegoods, as well as large-scale applications such as wall paneling, column wraps, reception areas and lobbies, and more.
