Lamin-Art recognized with an Outstanding Booth Award at GlobalShop 2015.
Chicago, IL 04/21/15 – The 2015 GlobalShop in Las Vegas recognized Lamin-Art with an Outstanding Booth Award at the event this March. The award, presented to five of approximately 700 exhibitors, highlights Lamin-Art’s introduction of the new Solid Colors laminate collection.
“We’re proud of this award,” says Lamin-Art Design Director Hans Mutzke. “The booth design—with all its stunning surfaces—demonstrates the impact our new Solid Colors collection can offer retail, hospitality and designers who want to make a bold statement with our distinct color palettes.”
Introduced in February 2015, the Solid Colors collection is the newest line of Lamin-Art’s trend-setting decorative surfaces. It features a wide range of cool blues, lively grays, soft neutrals and citrus hues. The 30 options in this collection mark the company’s first step into the solid colors arena since their revolutionary Pearlescence Collection. Lamin-Art created their award-winning booth with this return to color in mind.
“This booth is like nothing we’ve done before,” says Lamin-Art Owner and President Don Krog. “It brought our focus on design innovation to life.”
Designed in collaboration with 3D Exhibits—a Schaumburg, IL firm that creates, builds and delivers exhibits to support marketing strategies— Lamin-Art’s booth blurred the line between art and interior design. Every inch of the space showed the breadth of decorative surfaces Lamin-Art offers.
The all-white structure featured Lamin-Art’s new Solid Colors 9201 Deluxe White in a high-gloss Diamond Finish. To create a dramatic, artistic space, colorful large-scale designs wrapped floor-to-ceiling columns and vertical, wave-inspired product displays filled the area. Further, two white tables boasted large touch screens for attendees to explore and interact with the Lamin-Art catalogue using the latest technology.
“This booth and the award it received represent a great initiation for our new collection,” said Krog. “I’m proud of the work we’ve done and I look forward to continued success for Solid Colors.”
