Down to Earth ColorsLook for the "green" design movement to invade the color palette in 2007. According to the Color Marketing Group (CMG), a leading international association of color design professionals, the most powerful color trends for 2007 will be driven by a concern for the environment. Look for soft, botanical greens inspired by nature and "true" blues such as the color of the sky and water to be prominent this year. Beiges, browns and tans are expected to be more earthy to reflect the colors of rock, stones, and soil. CMG also anticipates rich, ethnic hues like deep reds and warm oranges to be the accent colors of choice.
